An ordinary day

An ordinary day is the day I find something special about just being alive.

On the way home from a supermarket, or when I’m hanging clothes on a clothesline.

My breathing at the moment, and the distance between the moment and my childhood memory.

The color of sunset and the functioning of my whole body.

My peaceful day, nothing to be scared of. It’s another day I’m getting close to my death.

An ordinary day is the day I remember the fact that I’m going to die someday.

On the way home from a supermarket, or when I’m hanging clothes on a clothesline.

My breathing at the moment, and the distance between the moment and my last breath.

The color of sunset and the functioning of my whole body.

My peaceful day, nothing to be scared of. It’s another day I’m alive.

All I need is a hand to hold to share my feelings, on such an ordinary day.
